He is the author of many articles on professional development, business, technology & automation, and social media.  He writes the popular career blog, "Notes From The Toolshed" at Toolbox.com.  His book, “The IT Career Builder's Toolkit: Your Guide To Building Your Technology Career In Any Economy” is a career manual for the computer professional.  It focuses on soft-skills, communication, personal marketing, business strategy, and project development - promoting the idea that your career is about the value you add to the organization.  It is used by CIS and IT courses in colleges worldwide.
